Testimonials I bought an archtop Ibanez a while ago. Set-Up, frets, and pick-ups were pretty average
to say the least. I got Mark from Rocket Music to fix the problem! Mark
did a fantastic job on that guitar. Re-fret, new pick-ups (TV Jones) and awesome set-up. I would highly recommend Mark of
Rocket Music to anyone needing some guitar repairs or even a simple restring. Mark knows his stuff. Frederic Bauwens Sales
Manager Austereo Perth Mark has built me a good looking excellant,
excellant sounding Strat. I have always wanted a Strat especially with a Sunburst 1956 replica finish. So when I looked
at buying one in my price range I basically had choice of the mexican or standard anerican ones around $2500 plus. From the
research I did and people I talked to these Strats are mass produced with standard pickups which did not suit my choice and
a custom shop guitar would of cost $4000 plus a long wait. So for less than $2000 I got a Custom built Strat with my choice
of Pick-ups (Seymour Duncans like my guitar hero David Gilmour), Colour, finish and hardware. I can't say enough how good
it is. So if you are looking for an expertly built custom talk to Mark Bruce Deck Mining Industry WA
I had a Yamaha Semi acoustic similar to a Gibson 335 which was Black and had basic
yamaha pick ups and hardware. I wanted to make it special and look a little vintage. So I gave it to Mark to do what he liked.
When he returned it me he had stripped it back to the maple, yellowed the binding finished it in clear but aged. Custom made
Pearloid pickguard, Vintage Tuners with Pearloid keys and knobs etc, TV Jones Classic Pick ups (great) and a look that was
very 50's, the guitar stepped up and rocks. Mark has also done alot of work and a brilliant setup on my Jackson Surfcaster
guitar too. I would recommend Mark to anyone that wants to turn a standard guitar into something brilliant. Call him for a
chat. Craig Weston Mix94.5 Announcer & Operations Manager Just a short note to any aspiring, learner
guitarists out there. If you have an idea in your head about what sort of guitar and sound you want, but don't really
know how to articulate the particulars of it all, then, go and see this guy! He knows his guitars sounds !!! I saw Mark, explained
to him the sounds I was after, in an electric guitar and he was able to create for me the sounds ( all concerning pick up
choice, configerations, reverse wiring etc, etc) I wanted. I now am in possesion of a guitar where, with my effects bank,
I have the spacey, screamy, wierdo rock sound I want. Tailor-made for me. The guitar plays normally when I want it to but
when I want to play the space rock, it's right there when I need it! I recommend you see Mark to put you on your rockstar
path. Cheers Mark Leo Kauri
I found out about Mark at Rocket Music purely by chance and it only took a conversation with Mark to
realise that this dude is damn passionate and knowledgeable about anthing to do with guitars! Confidently I let him re-build
my trusty old custom electric with new PU's, partial re-fret, new potsand a complete re-wire - with great results. Since
then he's re-fitted a 72 Tele for me and completely re-vamped my Blazer Bass that I've had for nearly 30 years - stoked
all round.
Carl Step Production Austereo Perth Now this is the Testimonial Carl orginally sent Funny Man but honest
!!!!!! Everyone has heard
the saying " The Wow Factor". like - when you go into a resturant and order the steak which is only 8 bucks... and
out comes a 400gram Japanese Wagya beef monster cooked to perfection, served with a deluxe array of condiments and side dishes. The other type of "The Wow Factor"
is when you order the 8 buck steak and out comes a piece of cooked meat cut into the shape of a miniyure Flying Scotsman steam
engine ( with electric motor inside) which you then have to run after with a steak knife whilst it's fanging around on
a 100 metre long mini train track doing over 30 clicks per hour. It's the second version of "The Wow Factor" that defines my experience
with Rocket Music. I gave
my prized custom electric to them for a re-string and a quick buff. I recieved it back in a lightening 9 weeks and boy - I
was amazed !!! Gone was the clumsy perfectly straight 35 year old vintage neck... and in came a 36 year old violin neck. I
mean.... how many guitarists have an axe with a violin neck????? No One - Brilliant!!! I'll go down in history for as
being THE most original player - EVER. And the violin neck is a whole year more vintage than what I had so I'm definatelygoing
to make money on this. Gone
too are the always troublesome electric wiring and pickups. Rocket said that the acoustics would improve heaps if we just
rip it all out and just leave a beautiful hollow shell. I'm told that I'll save a small fortune on power too because
I won't need to plug into an amp anymore. Of course - it makes sooo much sense.!!! Rockets ingenuity continued withy the addition of 4 wheeled
castors which were screwed into the back of my prized axe - hence eliminating the need (and possibility of using) a guitar
case because you can just wheel this baby around!!! Genius!!! My 2 year old nephew loves it too because he now has the coolest
skateboard on the block - and it even stays in tune after 4 hours of skating ( after a quick re-tune) Magic!! So all I can say is...... thankyou thankyou
thankyou thankyou Rocket Music. Warm regards and Thanks Carl Step PS I have a guitar for sale. Cost$9000 but will sell for $750 ono - or will swap for
a steam train shaped steak.
